2016 CQC Report
We were pleased to be inspected by the CQC in August this year and to receive an overall rating of GOOD for our practice.

Our whole team would like to say a big thank you to Gillian Joyce, our Patient Participation Group Co-Chair, who gave up her time to come along to speak as part of our main presentation team to the Inspectors. She helped to paint a tremendous picture for them of how we care for our patients and we are very grateful to Gillian for all her help on the day.

We would also like to thank all the patients who attended on the day of the inspection who gave up their time to speak to the Inspectors about their experience of the surgery and the services we provide.  There were seven of you altogether and the Inspectors were very impressed with your willingness to speak to them and for the all the help you gave them

THINGS THE INSPECTORS LIKED
Here are just a few of the things the Inspectors highlighted following their visit;

• They were especially impressed with our gardening project at the surgery, so thank you from all of us to Milan Mahmud for all your hard work on this.
  
• Our PPG Co-Chair Gillian Joyce is also involved in the interviewing of new staff at the surgery
  
• We have an open and transparent approach to patient safety
  
• Our compassionate treatment of patients
  
• Patients find it easy to give feedback
• Our staff are well supported
